My Brother

Joe was my older brother it was just the two of us we were 10 years apart, but it could of been just a day.I admired him so much for who he was.I only wish my three daughters would of known their Uncle Joe they would of loved him.
Joe you have always been with me with every breath I take. You have never been forgotten you live with me as well as others who cared for you.Everyone who knew you will always remember your smile and laugh.
I will always be proud of you and the sacrifice you made for all of us. You are my Hero.
God Bless you,Joe, we will be together again one day.

Your Brother

Always Remembered Cousin Pete

We all called him JoJo back home,He was like a brother to me. I Remember when we played stickball together on palmeto street in Brooklyn,JoJo was always bigger then me, but i was faster,we would go to the boysclub on bushwick avenue,We would play basketball and he would win every time, he always got a big laugh out of that. JoJo was a great guy to konw and be around, he was always smiling and laughing. One of the fondest memories I have of JoJo is the way he dressed,He was always dressed neat and wore the latest Fashions,The girls loved him,he was a very handsom guy. The last time I was with JoJo was at party,I was discharged from the Navy on June 28,1966.JoJo received his draftpapers and Subway token shortly there after so are familys got together and arranged a welcome home party for me and a Good Luck for JoJo. Today I will be going to Father Capodanno Blvd to visit the traveling replica Wall and JoJo and all the other Heros that gave all. We always kidded with JoJo about him being afraid of needles and blood when we were kids,so hes drafted and hes trained as a medic and his new name is Doc, I am proud to say he died doing what he was trained to do, helping the wounded. Well JoJo its that time see you soon. I will never forget you, your cousin Peter Karangis.
