Pen pals
There was a request made by an American magazine that young girls write to the boys who were in Vietnam. I decided to do this, even though I was in Canada, and ended up writing back and forth to Jimmy. He sent me a picture of himself and I sent him a religious medal. I never knew what happened to him until I checked the Vietnam Wall online recently and found that he had died. I am so sorry for the loss of this young man.

Childhood friends
We played and fished together when we lived in Russell Park fished at the end of the street in the colossahatchee river I guess we were around 9 or 10. Your German Shepard bit me on the face. We did lot of stuff together. I ALso served in V.N. R.I.P MY BROTHER eventually spent over 30 years as a paramedic firefighter
