Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Janice Demers Perham is touching and reflects the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Thank You

Dear Sgt George Lubesky, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Mother’s Day, but like none other. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

A LOST LOVE

We were planning our future together but this terrible war put an end to our dreams.
George was a sweet, loving guy. He was my high school sweetheart and treated me like a princess. We were engaged and our wedding was planned. To this day, I can remember my parent's car driving up behind me as I was walking back to work from lunch. It was a gut-wrenching experience no one should have to endure. They say things happen for a reason, there is no reason for the pain George's parent went through.
I know this sweet angel must be at rest with God!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT George A Lubesky Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
