THE WALL OF FACES

Ron was a boyhood friend. I knew him before we entered public schools. We were about 5 years old. I remember us on the the playground at Aycock School in Greensboro, NC. I am now 75 years old so that was about 70 years ago. I’m very regretful Ronnie missed living those 70 years. The price of war which many have paid the price.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Ron, you were such a handsome fun-loving young man in high school with so much promise. I'm so sorry your life was taken too soon. While I am thankful for your service to our country, I do hate we ever got involved in Vietnam.

Dear PFC Ronald Lovett, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. 45 years ago today, the president declared it the end of the war. It was not. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
