honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from fellow soldier Regge Jones is touching and reflects his admiration and respect for you. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

with Ken

I was there the day he died, along with at least 8-10 others. I was with the CO's driver and drove over to see Ken, A squad member found some old AK rifles buried behind a see hut and brought them over, we were debating what they were, AK47 or ak50 etc., I was looking at one and Ken was up on the rafters working, and he asked to see the one I was holding, I handed it up and after looking at it, he dropped it butte first and the rifle discharged hitting him in the face and coming out in the back of his head. He died within a few seconds. The rifle was very rusted and caked with mud. I will never forget this, I came in country with Ken in early July.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Kenneth Love, Thank you for your service as a Pioneer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 45th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon just passed, and it is still sad. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

He was in my squad

I too thought the world of Kenny. I was with him, along with Gary Ward who has posted here, the day he left this world. Kenny was friends with everyone, you could not have had a better friend. Even tho' I was a young buck sergeant, we were friends.
