Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Max Andy Lopez, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

MAX'S BEST FRIEND

Max was my dad's best friend in High School. In fact, it was 3 of them who were best buddies. Max, Henry and my dad, Jim. I spoke to my dad last night after seeing a post on facebook in remembrance of Max on November 5th. My dad was happy to hear me mention him, and told me how much he still misses him. Growing up my dad often told me of how he, Henry and Max were best friends and that after Max died, my dad was devastated. He is remembered always....R.I.P. Max
