THE WALL OF FACES

In August 1969 I attended the Third Marine Division Memorial Service at Quang Tri Airport. It was our opportunity to honor you Bruce, and your fellow Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice. This Fifth Infantry Division veteran will never forget that Memorial, or the sacrifice you made.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear Lcpl Bruce Livingston, Thank you for your service as a Mortarman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another spring, but like none other. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
