Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Corporal Norman Earl Little was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his meritorious valor in combat.
He served as a Helicopter Mechanic and Air Crewmember. He was assigned to HMH-463, MAG-16, 1ST MAW, III MAF.

Dear Cpl Norman Little, Thank you for your service as a CH-53 Helicopter Mechanic. I researched you on your 50th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My name is Phillip Wright , served with Norman. I trained him as crew chief on Christmas-53D . He took the help out that day without me.
