I was only in sixth grade, along with your sister when the news spread throughout the school about your passing while at battle in Vietnam. You gave your young life for our country. No words can express the gratitude I have for you. Thank you, Cousin George.

Dear PFC George Link, Thank you for your service as an Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Easter Friday. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

'86 graduate of Valley. While in school, I received an honor - the George A. Link award - for outstanding track achievement. The award wound up in a box until my parents recently sent it home with me. I never knew who GAL was until this site today. Thank you George for serving for us.
