My Uncle's Best Buddy

Gary, I only found out thru Ambush Valley That YOU were the "youngster" my Uncle Alex referred to..just 20.You two were down in that ditch together the day you died. It must have shell-shocked him BAD. He died 2 days later..I'd like to think trying to avenge his dear friend's death. You'll nver be forgotten for you are a part of my Uncle's history which I am working hard to compile for the family members who never got to know what a great guy he was. God Bless You Gary! Thank You For Your Service To Our Country!RIP

N'OUBLIEZ JAMAIS......NEVER FORGET

Gary and I lived in the same neighborhood as kids.....played sandlot baseball together..etc.
Although we did not know each other well,,,our lives seemed to parallel...
I too, served in the Marine Corps from 1966-1970...and spent 13 months in S. Viet Nam.
I was lucky enough to make it back home...but although you did not my friend...you will never
be forgotten.
