Ground Casualty

SP4 Donnie R. Beasley was a Combat Engineer serving with B Company, 4th Engineer Battalion, 4th Infantry Division. On March 11, 1967, SP4 Beasley was conducting a mine clearing operation in Kotum Province, RVN, during Operation Sam Houston when he was critically injured after being hit by fragments from a friendly mine.
