It is so wonderful to see that:

others have begun to post a remembrance for you. I always think of you and your sacrifice for our country. I continue to think of the day that you told Shirl and me that you would not be coming back. We didn't believe you. You bet we do now....and we miss you so. You were always our protector. I am sorry that we could not be yours.

Much love my other brother.

Love ya,

Bren

Forty Years Ago is a Long, Long Time

I am always remembering you being like a big brother to me during my childhood travels and crisis.brbrBut, today I remember you not only as a second brother, but as my Comrade. brbrBecause of you and others like you I can remain safe and free in a world that still has trials and tribulations, but is more tolerant of one another and why we are still here alive and well.brbrYou raised the bar, you and others like you made this world a wonderful place for remembering.brbrNever, never will you be forgotten or not have anyone post rememberances of thanks for all that you gave up for the USA. I will always post for you. I feel good knowing that you lived but you were willing to lay down your life, give up your home, your family and your freedom for all of us here in the USA.brbrMay God hold you in his busom forever and may he forgive me because I feel that you left too soon.brbrDallas Jones,
