Dear 1st Sgt Rodney Lawson, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Senior Sergeant with the 1st Cavalry. Your 52nd anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 1st full day of spring. Happy Spring! For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

WE served together in VietNam. He was the best field sgt. He took care of everything while we were out in the field. I was one of the soldiers who had to identify his remains.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
