In honor of your dedication and sacrifice to our Country, our Corps, and our CAP unit, on 8 August 2024 the CAP Unit Veterans Association will have a brick engraved with your name installed along the walkway of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, at the Dedication of the Combined Action Platoon Monument.

Dear PFC Thomas Latanowich, Thank you for your service as a Mortarman. I researched you on your 73rd birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

It has been a long time Tom I still think of you every day you were so important. I still cry cause your missed. You gave your life for so many you didn't even know.
