Forever Missing You and Never Forgotten

The Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Memorial website is now available for everyone to visit. It will be over a year that I have been working on this site. Somehow, a way would have been found to find help to create a website to honor all the Vietnam Veterans. I am grateful to the Anoka Technical College students who helped bring attention to this beautiful memorial. I am especially impressed and grateful for the commitment and dedication of Daryl Schmit. God bless you, Daryl.
After remembering your 40th birthday with a donation to the memorial, I received a letter from Retired U.S. Army Corporal Ed Komac (MVVM board member) who stated "I firmly believe that if you remember someoone, they never truly die." I found comfort in this over 30 years ago and now.
The names of 1, 027 and 35 still missing from the war are engraved in granite on this Memorial. God bless their memories and their families and friends.

Never Forgotten

Dear Big Brother. How I miss you. It has been 31 years since we dedicated the Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I'm so proud that we were able to celebrate you at that Memorial by raising your casket flag and sharing your story. This winter I am working with a group of young students at Anoka Technical School who are creating a website to commemorate our Minnesota heros. We want to continue to present your names in a forever format. Families, friends and veterans continue to heal. We will never forget the love and sacrifices you all made. I am so proud to do this for you.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Verle Larson , Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 71st birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
