In memory of lost youth because of Man's inability to compromise

My name is Raymond Gray and Ed was like a brother to me. We were stationed together NWS Concord, Ca. He volunteered us for Viet Nam while I was on a train run to Las Vegas.

We were assigned to the 5th Marine Division being trained at Los Polgost or something like that, to begin training. He went to 1/26 and I to 2/26, then to Viet Nam. I was lucky in a way, but lost the friend of my life.
Inamed my son after Ed. My son later won the Bronze Medal at the National Jr. Olympics in boxing. The event was held in Minniapolis, Minn. I spent a week with my son at the University. Called every Larson in the book trying to find Ed's Parents. No luck.
I know Ed is at peace and is with the Father. He was a kind and caring friend. I miss him every day. Semper Fi !
