My father served honorably in the Navy, but he saved his best for looking after Mom and Anne. My brother and I are both Marines. Our Mom and Dad are very proud of us. We hope you are too.

Last Mission of U.S. Army helicopter OH-13S tail number 63-09097

WO1 Dayton W. Lanier (posthumously promoted) was killed in action from an incident on 05091968 while performing the duty of pilot. Aircraft crashed and burned for unknown reasons. Aircraft was destroyed. Crew chief CPL Chris W. Frankhauser was also killed in incident. [Taken from vhpa.org]
