Remembering Carl
I escort Carl's body back from Vietnam in July 1969. We became best friends at Ft.Dix, NJ and later went to Infantry OCS together and became 2LTs in 1967. We went over to Vietnam together after going to Jungle School in Panama. Carl was one heck of a guy. My oldest son's middle name is Carl. A picture of him and I has hung in my houses since 1969. Never will forget him

Lt Carl Lamberson
I served with Lt Lamberson in the Recon Platoon back in 1969. I was the Medic in that platoon. I was just 19 years old at the time and Lt. Lamberson was highly respected. He watched out for each and every one of us and never asked us to do something he wouldn't do himself. He was like a father to me at my young age long ago. He has never been out f my mind all these years.

Thank You
Dear Lt Carl Lamberson, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Lt. Lamberson a great guy
Carl was my CO in Zulu Company at Ft. Monmouth, NJ back in 1968. He went to Nam I went to Nam. We never spoke again. But I thought of him often over the years, only learning of his death two years ago. I'm not surprised that he died saving others. Because though I only knew a a short while, I knew he was that kind of guy. Rest in peace Carl. And I hope they have pinochle up there.
