honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Jan Vann is moving. The description of your loss on your Mother reflects the anguish experienced by so many families that lost loved ones in this war. Thank You
Dear PFC Charles Labounty, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My neighbor
You did not know me but I lived down the street from you. You were
nine years older than me but I knew you went to war. I remember when your family got word that you had been killed and your mother was never the same. I remember all the cars at your house. I thank you for your sacrifice and I paid tribute to you in a Veterans Day Speech I gave in 2014. For twenty years I took Lampasas 8th graders to Washington, DC., and we always found your name on The
Wall. You are a hero and not forgotten.
