It has been 53 years since you left this earth. I remember it like it was yesterday. You were just in front of me when it happened. I helped carry you, you did not suffer. It was instant. You are not forgotten, I remember you often and morn you leaving us. I will see you again later on.

David, My brother and I were with you when you were killed. It was hard on both of us. I wish we could have salvaged the letter you had. RIP SGT. You were a good man and a great NCO.
