My Brother, My Hero
Jim was my big brother, best brother a girl could ever wish for. Jim was truly my hero.
All I have left are the wonderful memories growing up with Jimmy. I miss you everyday and nothing will ever fill the hole in my heart since you were taken from us. I am so proud of you and love you so much.

I Think of You Often
"When you go home
Tell them for us and say
For your tomorrow
We gave our today"
This profound message was found chiseled outside of a U.S. military cemetery on Iwo Jima in 1945.
If Jim had read that message, and perhaps he had in his brief life, he would have understood it and accepted it. Our duty was to go where our country asked us to go, and perform our missions with courage, knowing fully that we may give "our today".
I flew with Jim from February 1969 to that terrible day of June 4, 1969. We were friends and roommates, and we shared our hopes and dreams for the future. Jim, you were the best friend I could hope to have, and your sudden passing left a void in me that remains to this day. I think of you often, I miss you daily, and I thank you for my "tomorrow".
