Carl, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well and thank you.

Dear soldier,
My name is Zach Nicolay and I want to thank you for your sacrifice. You paid the ultimate price, and the result is that the world is a better place. This remembrance is part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. All of the students and staff at Gridley High School, along with myself, wish to thank you for your sacrifice.

The United States of America is the greatest country in the world! Our nation did not become what it is today through luck. It took the grace of god, hard work, and thousands of soldiers to build this country. Thank you for protecting our great nation. This is for the Gridley High School Posting Project.

I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois. As a class challenge, I am remembering all those who have willingly gave up their lives for this country.
