STILL THINK ABOUT HIM
Bill and I were roommates at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah GA the latter part of 1968 and early part of 1969 until our graduation. He was from NJ and I was from PA so we decided that we would meet in a bar and have a beer to celebrate our safe return from Vietnam in a year. Fate obviously had other plans and we never got the chance so my memory of him the day we graduated lives on as long as I do.

Never forget our time together
Bill was my best friend in high school. We spent great times together over those 4 years. We did great experiences together and we parted after graduation. When I went into the army he told me to do everything I could to get into OCS and flight school. I succeeded at both because of Bill and his companionship those 4 previous years at P-Burg high. I was a Captain and flew Nighthawk in Vietnam. I made it back and my best friend didn't. War sucks. I miss the hell out of you Bill. See you in my next life.
