A Tribute

I served with Mike Company 3/1 in Vietnam from 67 to 68 and have created a tribute motorcycle with all 206 names of our Marines and Corpsmen who made the ultimate sacrifice. To view the pictures of the bike go to www.youtube.com and search "Buds pics of bike" May we never forget.

THANK YOU

I am a high school student at Gridley High School and I am doing this for my U.S. History class and I just wanted to say thank you. You gave your life up not just for me but for other people to. Even though I didn't know you I still appreciate what you did. You arn't alive to see how everyone in our country lives today but thanks to you, you helped make our country advanced and you didn't even get a chance to see what you did. We all appreciate that.

Dick Kohland I have not forgotten you

I served with Dick as his squad leader in Vietnam in 1967. We served in Mike Company 3/1. He was a gentle soul and was a wonderful marine. He did whatever he was asked willingly. I am sorry for your passing and at times I feel the guilt that was with me from the day you died until many many years later.I know you have forgiven me and I'm just beginning to realize I need to forgive myself as well. I still miss you and think of you often. God bless you Dick. I look forward to the day we are all reunited in our Father's house.. Semper Fi. Snooks. "A man is not dead until he is forgotten" ..'
