THE WALL OF FACES

It’s your birthday today. As kids we used to look forward to birthdays. Now this day is a reminder of how short your life was, all you missed out on and how fortunate a few of us are to have had you as a brother. I cherish the memories that live on. I came to visit you today with dad and Uncle Everett. I served in the Army 3rd ID for 7 years, from 1997 to 2004, Spc4 during OIF. I really wish I'd had a chance to meet you but I will meet you one day when my time is done on this earth. Love you Uncle.
