POW/MIA bracelet

I work at a flea market in Illinois. While going through a bag of old jewelry I found your bracelet. I couldn't just let them sell it so I asked if I could have it. I just wanted to let you know that you're not forgotten.

High School Classmate

I knew you quite well back at Wheaton Community High School. You graduated with me in 1956. Your photo on the wall is your high school graduation photo. Keith Knabb. It wasn't until I found you on the virtual wall that I learned your real name was Kenneth Keith Knabb Jr. I met your family briefly and know how much they miss you. I will remember you as long as I live.

My Brother, My Mentor

Keith, my brother of Alpha Pi, Alpha Sigma Phi, you were an example to a freshman pledge and active at Purdue. I want you to know that 20 to 25 of us get together every year and we always remember and honor your memory. Rest in peace, my friend.

POW bracelet

For many years in the 70's I wore a POW bracelet with your nameā€¦.I haven't seen the bracelet in about 40 years, but I remember you. I remember YOU! Well, actually I remember your name and what that bracelet stood for. And now, 40 years later, I'm becoming a Quaker. Thank You, Kenneth Knabb!

continued

I had to quit to get myself under control. You see I am 50 now and this is the first I have had internet. What a tremendous surprise and shock to be able to put a handsome face with your name. I had no idea it was possible the tears just flowed. All of those yellow roses over the years meant friendship,God willing I get to heaven some day I hope to meet my friend.
