THE WALL OF FACES

Dan befriended me our freshman year in high school. We spent almost every day together until he enlisted. The last time I saw Dan was at his brother Ken’s funeral. He is dearly missed by all that had the good fortune of knowing him. May god’s eternal light shine over him. Rest in peace my friend.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

Dear Sp4 Daniel Klos, Thank you for your service as an Multichannel Transmission Systems Specialist. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 12th Day of Christmas, Merry Christmas and happy New Year in heaven. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
