Appreciation
I have had this silver bracelet in my jewelry case for a long time. When I found out what it really means and has meant to so many I have decided to wear it in remembrance of this hero. I wish I had done this sooner.

I wear his bracelet
I came across his bracelet in an antique shop in Texas. Once I researched it and learned the story, I knew I had to have it. I was only six years old when Lt. Kennedy was lost. The bracelet is a constant reminder of him and the loss shared by his family, as well as all those who sacrificed in Vietnam and other wars. It also reminds me that there is something bigger than myself and the petty day-to-day differences that we often focus so much on. My condolences to the Kennedy family. I am proud to wear the remembrance.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear Captain John William Kennedy, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

You are not forgotten
Jack, I wore your POWMIA bracelet for many years. every year on 816 I spoke with your mother by phone from the UK. She always had time to speak with me and recount stories from the past. When you were finally found she wrote to me here in England to tell me. She always made me feel very humble. How proud she was of you and how proud you would be of her. God bless you both
