An Old Neighbor Salutes
We played football together after school in the Augsburger's yard. We couldn't catch you or reach where your long arms could reach. You were the biggest kid in the neighborhood, or almost. Soon you were in high school while I was still in grade school and that all stopped. You graduated. Next I heard you were in the Army. You weren't just a big kid anymore, Larry. You were a man serving your country, then. Your life and sacrifice has not been forgotten. I pray for God's blessings on your family.
