Dear PFC Dennis Kempf, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 50th anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. We are approaching Thanksgiving. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

PFC Dennis J. Kempf was a rifleman serving with Headquarters, 1st Combined Action Group, Combined Action. On November 3, 1969, PFC Kempf died near Da Nang, Quang Nam Province, RVN, when he drowned while recreational swimming in the South China Sea. His body was recovered.
