A great kid

Jimmy Kelly was one of the nicest kids I ever knew. I don't think I ever heard an unkind word from his mouth, we went to St. Clare's School in Rosedale, NY and Jimmy Kelly was one of the neighborhood's greatest athletes. Everybody liked him-I never heard anyone say anything negative about him, he was "The All American" boy in every way! And one of the best looking guys around-he'd put Brad Pitt to shame. He was a class act all around, and was deeply mourned by all when news of his death reached our little town. May God bless him, and hold him in the palm of his hand, this day and always!

THE KID ON EDGEWOOD/THE MARINE DEFENDER AT QUANG TRI

I SALUTE YOU JIMMY. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR SACRIFICE.I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU WENT FROM A GREAT KID WHO PLAYED STICK BALL ON EDGEWOOD TO A ROCK HARD MARINE WHO WENT OFF INTO HARMSWAY TO SERVE HIS COUNTRY UNDAUNTED BY THE INEVITABLE DANGERS HE KNEW HE WOULD ENCOUNTER.GOD BLESS YOU JIMMY.
