Hey , Louie
I keep coming back every few months. Remembering our fun times as kids and in Boy Scouts. I just realized the numbed of others that lost their lives that day Feb. 14 1968. May everyone rest in peace and their families know that they are in a better place now.

I still remember
Louie, it's been many a year gone by and I still think of you! I remember us in grade school, boy scouts, Jr high and High school. I remember our long walks home from both jr high and high school. I remember Friday and Saturday nights walking the Avenue. I just wished you would have waited to join the Marines as we planned to after graduation. Maybe things would have turned out different? Miss you my brother!!!
I'm sure You, Mike and Wayne are together having a good time! Enough said!

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Louis Wilson Kalb, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
