Fellow soldier
Dana and I were in the same squad in Vietnam. Dana and I, along with another buddy, were all hit by shrapnel from a rocket propelled grenade during an ambush in the Boi Loi Woods. Both Dana and the other buddy were killed. I have thought of that ambush and Dana nearly every day since. I certainly haven't forgot.

You Shall Be Remembered
I'm from Gridley High School and in my world history class we get to write a remembrance for a soldier who doesn't have one. We want everyone to be remembered. I just want to say thank you for fighting for our country and for sacraficing yourself in bravery and courage. May God Bless and rest in peace.
Sincerely,
LeaAnn Ringger
