Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

I was coming home from a hunting trip in northern Iowa when I herd on the radio you where KIA in Viet Nam. When I got home my brother Joe was at my dads house, he was crying (something I never saw him do.
In 1967 I enlisted and went to Nam, saw a lot especially during TET 68. You and my brother Joe were best friends and you inspired me do be a winner. Lots of comrades died in the land we defended. To bad politicians lost the war.
Going to Viet Nam memorial in May, will say a prayer again for you there as I have at the wall in Des Moines.

Dear Lcpl William Juergens, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Halloween is this week. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
