Missing You

Happy vetrans day richard. This year marks 50 years youve been gone. We think about you all the time and keep your memory alive like mom wanted. You would be very happy to hear that your good buddy bob, who served with you, got a hold of us this year. We stay in touch with each other. Bob talks real highly of you. He also told us stories about you, he said you were mucho machismo. He misses you alot too. We miss you so much and are very proud of your accomplishments while serving in our country.

Good Friend

John was my good friend from the May, 1966 when I met him at Ft. Riley, KS. We served in Vietnam together until October, 1967. Only this year did I find out that he did not make it. Even 50 years later, I am heartbroken and can't get him out of my mind. To all his friends and relatives I offer my condolences and best wishes. He was great guy.

You will never be forgotten

Richard you will always be remembered and missed, you are our family hero and hero as well to all the many friends you had and extended family members.
It is hard to believe that in a 4 yr period, you were joined by your brothers James, Peter, your sister Sara and our beloved mother . . You are now in good company.
On this Memorial Day, you are clearly in the thoughts of many who loved you . . ;-(

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT John Juarez, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Memorial Day 2013

Today 45 yrs. after you have left us, we take the time to think of you and remember the day the family received praise and honor given to you for your heroic actions on that last day, Dec. 4, 1967, leading your squad in combat.
