Staff Sergeant Larry Christopher Jordan was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for his exemplary gallantry in action. He was also awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Merit for his sustained meritorious service. He served as a Military Policeman and was assigned to 557TH MP CO, 89TH MP GROUP, 18TH MP BDE.

I remember talking you and several other guys in the hooch before getting ready to go on duty that night. I remember us talking to one of the guys (Delaney from Alabama) about the "Dear John" letter he received that day. I remember you trying to console him. I remember you were going on patrol with a guy named Stockard. I remember what happened later. Until we meet again, RIP Larry Christopher Jordan, your work here on earth is done.
