Thinking of you today....

I wrote on this page 11 years ago. I was the replacement Gunner sent to Cua Viet after the 23 boat was hit on 11/11/68 with the loss of all hands, including Robin. Today I am attending an event at the USS Midway in San Diego which will include visiting the travelling wall. I will pay homage to Robert Barron and again thank him for the ultimate sacrifice and what that means to our nation. RIP Robert "Robin" Barron, you are missed.

the count was wrong.

I guess I counted the years wrong last time I left a note to you good buddy. Anyway its 25 years today, and the memories never stop, its like yesterday we had our times that were mostly all good,some scarey, some sad. I'll think of you all day today Hardy. thats all for now.

I will remember Robert today - on the 45th anniversary of the loss of he and his crew - Bob Foley, Clif Newman and Gary Graves.

It is my duty to ensure that these four men and Never Forgotten.
