I HOPE SOMEONE WILL PUT YOUR PICTURE HERE BECAUSE THIS WALL OF FACES NEEDS YOUR FACE! THANKS FOR BEING A MEDICAL NCO, AND THANKS FOR THE LIVES YOU SAVED! WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. ADVENT IS HERE, AND CHRISTMAS IS APPROACHING. WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU. THE NEW YEAR IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, WHICH MAKES IT FAR TOO LONG FOR YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE SAINTS AND ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE.

On behalf of all your fellow paratroopers who served with the 173rd "Herd" Airborne Brigade in the Republic of Vietnam, let me offer our respect and regrets for your final sacrifice. May you rest in peace and never be forgotten.

This is MY BROTHER that I served with in Vietnam.On July 23rd Doc gave me some beads his wife had sent him and every bead meant something He gave them to me going up a river. I was pulling point and he came up to me because him and I got into a fight earlier that day over some BS and he told me DeWit your my Bud and we are not gonna stay mad at each other and HEY aint today yer Birthday? I do NOT know how Doc knew that.The next month he was gone and David Carter Tim Netherly and me LOST IT! Avritt saved us from going to LBJ (Long Bein Jail) because Sgt Sopko said somehthin shitty about him. I LOVE YOU DOC and I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL THESE TEARS! David has joined you now GD I AM SO SAD RIGHT NOW DOC! LOVE your Brothe, Kenny

Dear SP4 Paul V Barrington Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
