Proud to be a descendent

Found out recently you are my grandfather on my mothers side. Sad you never got to meet your daughter she's a wonderful woman. I served in the Infantry in Iraq, 1st Calvary Division Army. I have your lips and chin. We met your sisters, they still miss you a lot. I didn't know you but I feel like we have a lot in common. You sacrificed your life for your brothers in arms and you deserve much for that. I will see you on the other side. We can have a beer and trade war stories.

With Love,
Zachery Keith Holmberg

Thank You

Dear Lcpl Harold Jones, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Columbus Day Weekend. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Harold Leslie Jones, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
