NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER

It is said a man or woman hasn't died as long as they are remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Never Forgotten

You seemed like a selfless, courageous, and truely amazing person. What you did for people, and what you gave up will never be forgotten. You are a hero!

My Thanks

I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, IL. As part of the Gridley High School Posting Project, a project that ensures that those brave soldiers that perished during the Vietnam War are not forgotten, I write this to you: your courage is inspiring, your memory is unfading, and your loyalty is admirable. I am proud of you for defending those in Vietnam; your actions will forever leave an imprint in my life. Thank you, dear soldier. Rest in Peace.
