THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Dear Sp4 Charles Jones, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is actually Columbus Day. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I remember the day we graduated from High School. I remember the day you left for over there. I remember the day you were brought home from over there. I remember visiting your grave the day before I left for over there. I miss you Charles Ray. Rest in Peace my friend. We'll meet again someday. Hugh M

Charlie Jones was a not so distant relative of my mother and myself and though I did not know him my mother did.
