Milo my friend.

Milo and I were best friends at Richmond Academy in Augusta GA. We were in the school band, he played tenor sax and was Drum Major leading the band. We hiked along the Appalachian Trail one summer and again in the winter. He went off to NGC and I went off to GA Tech.
I took Milo’s passing well but in 1998 when attending a conference in DC I visited the Viet Nam memorial wall and broke down when I saw his name. He was preparing to go into dentistry after high school. He would have made an excellent one, he excelled at everything he did and set an example for me in high school which enabled me to later get my BS and Masters degree. I will miss him forever. I hope his family is doing well.
