We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Lee Johnson, Tank Mate
Lee and I were crew man on the Same Tank in May-July 66. Our Tank Commander Sgt. Reed went back to the States in Late July 1966. Lee and I were reassigned to different Tanks at that time. within a week he was K.I.A. So SAD ! He was a pleasant young man and was always taking photographs. The few I have during that time many years were taken by Lee. R.I.P. Sir , I will see you soon.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Lee Grant Johnson, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
