I was there for a concussion I sustained at Subic Bay, Philippines while my ship was in port there from the war in Vietnam. Nurses were regularly exchanging clean bandages on his stomach where he had been wounded.
His from Foley, MN later came to visit him. I met here at the hospital. I was later discharged from the hospital and went back to my ship, the USS Camden (AOE-2).
