Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Wayne Alan Barnum, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

I miss you, little brother.

I wish I could come and visit you, little brother. I wish I could visit you and your family, your wife and children, maybe even grandchildren, possibly at your ranch there in the beautiful Montana tnat you loved so. i can only wish because you died an early death thanks to Lyndon Johnson and his lying liberal socialist democrat collegues. Like so many other brave Americans you gave your life in a war that wasn't meant to be won. At age twenty you were a hundred times the man that L.B.J. could ever hope to be. I miss you, Little Brother.
