Still Remembered with Gratitude

I first purchased a POW/MIA at the University of Evansville(IN), in 1970. I have never forgotten your name and have thought of you often. We were in Washington D.C., on a Memorial Day about 25 years ago, and was able to do a pencil rubbing of your name from the Vietnam Wall. I have just today, following a news report about POW/MIAs, thought of searching your name on my phone. I became teary, while reading other connections to you. Ironically, I was in Laos on a mission trip in ‘99, and today discover that is where your plane was downed.
Prayers for your family, but proud and thankful for your service and sacrifice and your family’s sacrifice, as well.

Thank You

Dear Col Paul Johns, Thank you for your service as a Supersonic Fighter-Bomber Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
