Ground Casualty
SMA Samuel R. Jessee was assigned to Headquarters & Headquarters Company (HHC), 5th Battalion, 12th Infantry, 199th Infantry Brigade. While serving in Vietnam, SMA Jessee suffered a stroke and died October 4, 1969. A WW II and Korean War veteran, he was 47 years old at the time of his death. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]
