Thank you
I went to Gilliland Funeral Home in Hereford when I was seven years old. I didn’t understand then, but it made an impression on me. Now I know you were a hero. I’m sorry you had to give your life so early.

Never Forgotten
Today I think of you, a new student, starting in our 4th grade class at St Anthony's.
You gave everything. Thank you.

Dear Stephen,
Our families were so intertwined through marriage and community (Hereford, TX) and parish (St. Anthony's). As your were six years younger than me, I knew you as a child of family friends. Your parents were wonderful persons and your entire family too. I have thought of you often over these fifty-one years since your death in Vietnam.
I have visited your graver often in St. Anthony's cemetery. Your grave is only a few feet from the graves of my parents. I weep there and when I have touched your name on the Wall and its replica. God bless you and God bless the Jesko family.
