Thank You

Dear Lt James Jerson, Thank you for your service as a Special Forces Qualified Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Jim was my neighbor...

My mom and his mom were best friends, and he used to babysit my brothers and I when we were young. I was born in 1955. Jim was an Eagle Scout, and someone we always looked up to. I hope he did not die in vain; considering what we see happening In the world, today. I am 63, now. Rest In Peace, Jim. You were an awesome man, and a patriot. May the military draft never be instituted again. I think Jim would have signed up,
anyway.. God bless the USA, and James Ray Jerson.

Article about the operation Jim Died On

Jim was a friend and classmate when we attended the Special Forces Officer Course from May-Oct 68.
In tribute to him I wrote an article about the operation that he died on. Below is a link to that article.
