honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your sister Joan is moving and reflects the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Thank You

Dear Cpl James Jensen, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You should be my neighbor!

I never met you, but I have been to many places you used to go, and also seen your grave, which is only about 2 miles from me. I wish you were here, now!

The fact that you were killed while trying to save others speaks very highly of your character. In fact, it is the greatest display of love for another that there is.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL James Paul Jensen, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
